Antique look Belsnickle Santa. No, it's not chalkware - look again, it's made from cloth!

(Click pic for larger image)

Belsnickle Santa

19cm (7 3/8") tall

This unusual pattern is a wonderful free standing cloth Belsnickle was designed because I love the look of the Chalkware Santas, made from vintage chocolate moulds. Could they be imitated in cloth?  You be the judge!  Cloth, painted and antiqued using padded quilting technique for a dimensional look.  It creates a wonderful antique looking Christmas piece that looks like it's been around for a hundred years.  I love this piece and it may well become the first in a series.  #NT300
